Please join us for 350 Austin’s monthly Open Meeting, this coming Tuesday evening. It’ll be at the usual place and time:

What to bring: A water bottle, and all your good energy and ideas!

In addition to our break-out groups, where all the fun action planning takes place, we’re excited about our guest speaker: Matt Weldon is a member of the City of Austin’s Electric Utility Commission (EUC), and he’ll be sharing ideas for scaling back the Fayette coal plant’s operations. The City is working through its plans to shutter its part of Fayette, and Matt will share his proposals to decrease Fayette’s operations now, so that we also reduce carbon output in the meantime, while those City wheels turn.

Finally, don’t forget our request for your monthly financial support — see a copy of our previous emails below. (And a big thank you to all of you who are already contributing!)

Click here to go directly to our donation form — don’t forget to hit “Yes, count me in!” to make it a monthly investment — thank you for making a difference!

Thanks, and we hope to see you on Tuesday.
