Lots happening, so arrive early!

Our open meeting this week is bursting with music, fun, and information. The climate crisis is serious business, but that doesn’t mean we can’t “whistle while we work”!  Singer, songwriter, and pipeline warrior Purly Gates will be joining us to talk about the Permian Highway Pipelinethat is threatening our beloved Hill Country.  She will also perform for us.  You don’t want to miss that.

Our intern from Switzerland, Adrian Stolz, will be leading us in a bit of fun with his climate change version of Bingo.  Fill your card and win a t-shirt!!  Sadly, we will also be saying farewell to Adrian this week.

We will be welcoming the newest kids on the block, Sunrise Movement.  Our own Morgan Young, a UT senior, will be sharing what the recently formed Austin group is up to.

There will be an update on our campaign to close the Fayette coal plant, the latest on the Electric Utility Commission, and important announcements about ways you can get involved.
